Skier Safety Act
In 1979, Colorado enacted the Skier Safety Act which creates certain rights and responsibilities for skiers and snowboarders while on the slopes. Have you had a collision on the slopes? If you violate a handful of the provisions, you could be held criminally liable. If you have been skiing at Vail or Beaver Creek and have been cited for a violation of the act or other criminal charges resulting from you activities on the mountain, give us a call. We also handle civil cases arising out of these types of collisions.
